(Scroll down for video) Are you running late for dinner and you need to make something fast?

Well there is an application for that.

Just create a list of what you have in your refrigerator and get a list of recipes that you can make of those foods.

Companies are always looking for ways to combine technology with their products. Now, refrigerators are going hi-tech.

Companies are showing off their new applications for keeping track of what you have in the refrigerator, their expiration dates, shopping lists and more.

There will be an application to help users search recipes according to what they have stocked in the refrigerator.

The application will allow you to create shopping lists, which you can then see on your smartphone, and family members can add items to the refrigerator list when needed so you can see it on your phone when shopping.

You can also manage the expiration dates of products like chicken, milk and yogurt.

The display allows users to keep up with the news, weather and even social media from the refrigerator door. You can also replace handwritten calendars with an online Google Calendar.

If you want to cook, you can say: “I have these ingredients in the refrigerator, what I can make?" And the application will pull up recipes that can be prepared with what you have inside.
