Couple plots to rob child molesters and kidnap children (video)

(Scroll down for video) Police have arrested a couple who came up with a sick plan to rob child molesters and kidnap their children, according to police reports in Colorado.

The couple was arrested after planning to attract child molesters to a hotel room, rob them and then kidnap their children, authorities said.

Dustin Canup, 20, and Sareena Morrison, 18, ​​were arrested at a motel in Loveland on Friday, in a sting set up by undercover police.

Police said that both posted messages on Internet sex sites targeting men willing to sell their children for sex.

After receiving a tip from someone who had seen the publication, Loveland Police approached the couple, posing as a man willing to pimp out his 6-year-old daughter.

The two agreed to meet at the hotel, where the couple agreed to pay for the encounter and engage in sexual acts with the girl, authorities said.

The police arrested the couple when they knocked on the door of the room at the Hi-Way Motel.

Canup had a 12-inch knife strapped to his waist and handcuffs in his pocket.

The couple told police they planned to rob the man who they were going to meet and then blackmail him into giving them his daughter.

The couple said they had threatened to call the police if the man did not comply, police said.

The couple faces charges of conspiracy, attempted kidnapping and attempted extortion among other charges.

Both were booked into the Larimer County Jail.
