Administrators of a courthouse in Ohio, announced that it will begin feeding birth control to birds in order to stop them for defecating on the court building and judges.
Wayne County is spending millions of dollars to renovate a courthouse built in 1878 in Wooster.
However, the county has long had a problem with pigeon droppings on the metal statues and other decorative elements on top of the courthouse, and has been using wire mesh to reduce pigeon droppings.
The mesh will be removed during the renovation.
A county commissioner told people at a meeting recently that there are plans to put specific contraceptive chemicals in bird seed in the hope of reducing the population of the flock.
