A group of salespeople in China, were dragged to a bridge and forced to kneel after they missed their sales goals, according to photos uploaded to the Internet.

Motorists who were using the busy bridge in Xiamen, were surprised to see men and women in suits on their knees.

All of them held signs, detailing their name, age, and exactly what they had done to bring such shame on themselves. One sales person held a handwritten message on the floor before him, saying: "I have not hit my sales goals."

Another sign had the message: "I have to kneel on the bridge for an hour as punishment for not finishing my work." The photos of the incident were uploaded to the Internet, where they went viral.

After a while, one of them decided that enough was enough. He stood up, and grabbed one of the signs and threw it on the floor before leaving.

The others stayed, calmly accepting their punishments.
