A boxing champion was arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of a child after pointing a gun at young children, police in Arkansas said.
Little Rock Police said that 36-year-old Jermain Taylor, pointed the gun at the 5, 3, and 1 year old children of Toya Smith, and threatened to kill the woman and her husband.
He also fired shots in the air.
Taylor was arrested shortly after the incident on Monday, and was booked into jail on charges of aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a minor and possession of drugs.
Smith said that Taylor was furious when her five-year-old son accidentally dropped the boxer’s champion belt. Police said that they seized the gun used in the alleged incident.
