A man was arrested, charged and convicted of rape after raping a mentally disabled girl on a playground, prosecutors in the United Kingdom said.
Now, 28-year-old Michael McQueenie has been sentenced to serve 11 years and seven months in prison at the Preston Crown Court, after being accused of raping the 14-year-old girl at a Blackburn playground.
He was also ordered to register as a sex offender for life. McQueenie pleaded guilty to rape and sexual assault for raping the defenseless girl, who has severe learning difficulties.
According to the police investigation, several witnesses saw her being lured away into the bushes by a stranger and alerted her father.
Her father quickly went looking for her and when he found her, McQueenie had already raped and sexually assaulted the girl.
