A man was arrested on charges of trespassing after he became belligerent when asked to unfold $1 bills while paying his taxes, police in Texas said.
The Wichita County Sheriff's Office said that they arrested 27-year-old Timothy Norris on Wednesday, after he entered into a tax collection office with folded $1 bills that took staff several minutes to unfold.
Tax officials asked Norris to help them unfold the bills so that they could be counted quickly, but this prompted him to launch a tirade against the government.
He was very angry about the need to pay taxes, officials said. He was arrested after refusing to leave the office. Norris was charged with trespassing.
He was booked into jail and released after posting $500.
