75-year-old man rapes unconscious woman for 2 days

An elderly man was arrested, charged and convicted of rape after raping an unconscious woman in his apartment, prosecutors in California said.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced that 75-year-old Arthur Eugene Lindsey, was found guilty of multiple counts of drugging and raping the 29-year-old woman.

Lindsey of Agua Dulce was found guilty of two counts each of rape of an unconscious person, rape by use of drugs and sexual penetration by foreign object.

Lindsey also was found guilty of one count each of oral copulation of an unconscious person, possession of firearm by a felon with three priors and oral copulation by anesthesia or controlled substance.

A sentencing hearing was scheduled at Department A17 of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Antelope Valley Branch. Lindsey faces more than 100 years to life in state prison.

The jury also heard that Lindsey had previously been convicted of first-degree murder and first-degree murder in the perpetration of rape for the killing of a 21-year-old woman in Indiana.

According to the police investigation, the victim was drugged and raped for two days in his Agua Dulce trailer. Parole officers discovered Lindsey sexually assaulting the unconscious victim.
