Man walks into spa and rapes female worker at gunpoint

(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested on charges of rape after allegedly raping a female spa worker at gunpoint, prosecutors in New York said.

Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown announced that the 37-year-old College Point man has been charged with rape and other charges in the gunpoint attack on the spa worker at an unlicensed massage parlor in Bayside, Queens.

The District Attorney identified the defendant as Luis Jessup, 37, of College Point Boulevard in the College Point section of Queens.

The defendant was arraigned before Queens Criminal Court Judge John F. Zoll.

He is charged with first-degree rape, second-degree criminal sexual act, second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

The defendant is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

If convicted, the defendant faces up to 25 years in prison.

The defendant walked into the Northern Boulevard business shortly after 7:00 a.m., and allegedly displayed a gun to the 42-year-old female worker inside.

The defendant is alleged to have removed the woman’s pants, forced her to lie down on a massage table and sexually assaulted her.
